Held on October 25, 2024, at the Chamber’s location, the event was an inspiring gathering with Houston journalist Chelsea Edwards as emcee and featured a keynote by Winston Labbe, Deputy District Director of U.S Small Business Administration, on empowering underserved areas. Guests enjoyed a special performance by artist and activist AJ McQueen, and local business leaders Xavier Bishop, Brenda Nelms, and Bennie Swain III were honored for their dedication to community progress.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Lone Star College North workforce development program, the Chamber's ongoing initiatives, and community-driven solutions such as the Acres Home Chamber Farmers Market, aimed at tackling food insecurity. This annual event remains a cornerstone for fostering business growth, partnerships, and sustainable change in the historic Acres Home neighborhood.
