Photo Recap: Chasity Sereal Growing Pains- A Wearable Art Experience
Project Runway’s Runner-up, Chasity Sereal, presented a wearable fashion experience at the Harris County Cultural Arts Center. Guests in attendance got to experience her wearable art in the form of a walk-through installation featuring the first article of clothing she designed and created juxtaposed with her most recent pieces.

The gallery viewing cullminated with an Artist talk moderated by Stacy Allen, director of the HCCA in which Chasity discussed her work, her art, lessons she’s learned along the way and her experience on Project Runway.
Our one wish was that we could have experienced the clothes on live models as a performative piece. Given the vibrant colors, couture level craftsmanship and attention to detail, the static display of the pieces felt like a missed opportunity to showcase the movement and fit of the artwork while elevating the display.
