Former NFL baller Warren Sapp may have enjoyed the Super Bowl a little too much. The Hall of Famer was arrested and charged Monday morning for allegedly soliciting a prostitute with whom he argued with over pricing at Phoenix hotel. E! News reports:
According to law enforcement, police officers were contacted at around 2:30 a.m. by a female at a Phoenix hotel who alleged she had been assaulted when an argument about money turned physical. Police detained Sapp and questioned him, and during his interview he admitted his involvement in the act of prostitution. He denied assaulting any females at the scene. He was later transported to the Maricopa County Jail and booked on charges of soliciting prostitution and two counts of assault.
Sapp’s bosses over at The NFL Network didn’t take very kindly to his behavior and immediately fired him from his position on the network. They didn’t want nothing to do with that at all! We’re not sure how well this can turn out for him.
