There’s a boom in medical marijuana dispensaries in the state of Californian and the U.S. These facilities have reached record numbers, cropping up like Starbucks or McDonald’s. States across the nation are legalizing medical and recreational marijuana. Our two unlikely heroes, Darius (DeRay Davis – “EMPIRE”, “21 Jump Street”, “GI Joe”) and Pat (Lil Duval – “Scary Movie 5″,”Meet the Blacks”), figure they can help the medical marijuana movement, but mainly help themselves by trying to grow their own cannabis and selling their crop to the dispensaries. Only one problem, knowing how to smoke weed doesn’t mean you know how to grow weed.
After taking a trip to “Dr. Doobie” (Malcolm McDowell – “Entourage”, “The Mentalist”, “Home Alone”) to become legally certified pot growers, they gain access to a Bel Air mansion to use as a “grow house.” Although they convince Snoop Dogg (played as himself) to fund their operation, our heroes soon discover what can grow wrong, will go wrong in this comedy of errors.
Soundtrack Available on Priority Records. New single “The Bong Song”
Left, right, crossover shwoosh he scores! Lol… not so much for our celebrities, but we had a fun time watching them try for a good cause.
February 3rd, super bowl 51 weekend, all the “A” list celebs came out to support Draftkings Antonio Brown’s Super Slam celebrity charity basketball game presented by Genesis Media Group. A portion of the proceeds went to The Boys and Girls Club of Houston and Tackles 4 Cancer. Celebs like Porsha from RHOA, Ja Rule, Stevie J, Dj Khaled, Snoop Dog, Trae the Truth, and many more came out to try their skills on the court for charity. Everyone was in a great “team spirit” type of mood.
There were a ton of great highlights from the night, but there were two that really stuck out. The “Snapchat King” himself Dj Khaled attempted to take a shot during the basketball game; needless to say he finally scored after his fourth try. Another “have to remember moment” was Snoop making sure he took a picture with every kid that asked.
It’s always great to see celebs come together for a cause greater than themselves.
Authentic is the first word that comes to mind when speaking of Tyrese. Which is kind of odd because as an actor he is by definition someone who pretends to be someone else, which is the antithesis of authentic. But as an R&B singer/rapper and motivational speaker he deals in hard truths and delivers them unapologetically. Continue reading “Interview: Tyrese a.k.a Black Ty a.k.a Roman Pierce” »
The annual South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas features many celebrities in various concerts, movie premieres and speaking engagements over the two week period of the fest. Things will be a bit different this year as SxSW has slated rapper Snoop Dogg to give this year’s Music Keynote address. In their recent announcement, SxSW officials shared, “Multi-platinum artist and entertainment icon Snoop Dogg is at the forefront of pop culture with award-winning albums and songs, multiple films, lifestyle products, philanthropic efforts and digital ventures, including his YouTube original series ‘GGN News.” This will make Uncle Snoop the first ever hip-hop artist to give the keynote as it has previously been given by top-performing artists such as Little Richard, Lady Gaga, and Smokey Robinson. The event is available to all Music and Platinum badge holders and will be held at the Austin Convention Center. Congrats to Snoop Dogg!!
Uncle Snoop has always been about his family and most of all his kids. In recent years, his youngest son Cordell has been highlighted and scouted for his amazing accomplishments in football, being the third highest prospect to come out of Nevada. During Tuesday’s National Signing Day, Cordell agreed to sign with UCLA. Despite Snoop being a USC fanatic, he happily supported his son’s decision and noted that he will be throwing out all of his USC drawers. Cordell will be joining Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, who is currently a redshirt junior at UCLA. Can’t wait to see what the boys do on the field this college season. Congratulations to Cordell and Snoop!

If you’re not following Uncle Snoop on Instagram, your life will never be fulfilled. The man posts the most hilarious pictures and memes all day long i.e., his post turned beef with Iggy Azalea that started a social media firestorm 2 months ago. Iggy was able to hold her own, but one of Snoop’s recent posts showing a non-celebrity with the tag ‘whose auntcle is this,’ is not going over so well. The man whose picture was used in the meme, Cortez Booze, took great offense to it and has decided to sue Snoop Dogg. Booze is saying that he has been the target of a lot of slander, hate, and gay-bashing from various social media users because of the post. He reported the picture as inappropriate to the Instagram police, but it remained on Snoop’s account. Since no action was taken there, Booze decided to let the court handle it. We know he’s just trying to have a little fun, but Uncle Snoop has gots to chill!! We hope everything works out for both sides. Check out the post below. What yall think?
Old pals Snoop and Wiz link up once again and this time they add Ty Dolla to the mix for Wiz’s new jam ‘You And Your Friends.’ The record is from Wiz Khalifa latest album Black Hollywood and it proves to be a fun, upbeat tune. In the video, Wiz and Ty frolic on the beach with their usual joints liquor and women. Check out the video below.
Jodi and Rodney have put their differences over Yvette aside have come together to create a nice little song. Tyrese invites Uncle Snoop on his track that shares all of the dumb shit he happens to do while in a relationship. We guess he’s trying to tell the men of the world that it’s time to own up to foolishness. Tyrese brings out is rap alter ego Black Ty to deliver a hot 16 and it’s not too shabby. These 2 should create more music together. We’ll be there for it. Enjoy the song below.
Uncle Snoop is in the studio working on something new for his nieces and nephews. Leaving behind his reggae name, Snoop Lion, Snoop Dogg will be giving us an album that he says is “completely different than anything we’ve ever done.” He is working with a few of his favorite friends including Charlie Wilson, Pharell Williams and surprisingly Stevie Wonder. An album name or release date has not been shared as of yet but be on the look out for it very soon.
