Ariana Grande Announced NBA All-Star Game Halftime Performer

The upcoming 2015 NBA All-Star game halftime show will feature the pop princess herself, Ariana Grande. She has been topping charts and putting on great performances at award shows throughout the year, and has been nominated for a few Grammy’s. Surely based off her recent success, the NBA agreed she would best to headline the halftime show at Madison Square Garden on February 15th. Other shows from artist are scheduled throughout the All-Star Weekend including Nico & Vinz, Diddy, and Snoop Dogg. Be sure to check out Ariana and the many other performers happening over All-Star Weekend! The game will air on TNT at 7pm ET.

Amar’e Stoudemire Speaks Out

New York Knickerbocker Amar’e Stoudemire drops some knowledge about the African-American and the state of the people in a video found on WSHH.  The hooper and philanthropist even delivered a Bible verse sure to make the uninitiated shiver.  Kudos to Mr. Stoudemire for standing up on his beliefs.  He also put his money where his mouth is by producing the film Beyond the Lights with BET last year.  Clap for’em

Drake Night At Toronto Raptors Game

The second annual ‘Drake Night’ was held December 17th at the Toronto Raptors vs. Brooklyn Nets NBA game. Drake being the Raptor’s Global Ambassador introduced the players, talked courstside with ESPN, and provided the team with retro Raptors jerseys. The night was fun for fans too as they received giveaway items including a ‘Drake Night’ tee shirt. Enjoy a few highlights from the big night below.

Kendrick Lamar’s ‘i’ To Serve As NBA Soundtrack This Season

The NBA is using K.Dot’s newly released single as the soundtrack for the 2014-15 season. The single samples The Isley Brothers’ “Who’s That Lady,” and will be featured in promotional videos for the season with appearances from NBA ballers Carmelo Anthony, James Harden, LeBron James, and Dirk Nowitzki, He will also perform “i” at the NBA/TNT concert on Thursday, October 30.
