For the second time this week, Drake was spotted at Bowlmor Houston. Last night, he and his friends, including rapper Slim Thug, Lil Keke and James Prince Jr. (who, by the way, discovered Drake) sipped on Grey Goose and Grapefruit (a change up from Drake’s staple drink of white wine spritzers). The group bowled a few frames in the private VIP area.
We hear Champagne Papi and his friends gathered to celebrate the life of “Big Toni,” who was a bodyguard for many celebrities, like Drake and James Harden.

Our peeps in L.A. hit us and asked us to Drop in on Yellow Claw Saturday night in support of their sophomore effort Los Amsterdam. The mood was electric as we walked through the parking lot, and ran into a couple hundred fans buzzing with anticipation as they anxiously waited to get in the building. The heady performance was kicked off with a spectacular light show underscored by heart pounding, pulse quickening beats. Jim Aasgier and Nizzle masterfully controlled the crowd’s mood and energy as if it were an instrument in and of itself. They artfully stoked the rising tide of excitement until it could no longer be contained and it erupted; unleashing holy hell in Houston’s Stereo Live, leaving the crowd drenched in sweat and tingling as if released from the grip of gravity to be carried off into the weightlessness of space (city).
Los Amsterdam features the TOP 10 Billboard Dance Chart hit “Good Day (feat. DJ Snake + Elliphant).” LP also features collaborations with Juicy J, Quavo of Migos, Lil Debbie, Moski, Jonna Fraser, Rochelle, Tinie Tempah and Cesqeaux, and the pair have accumulated over 470+ million streams on Spotify and 415+ million plays on YouTube to date….as you can see, the show was lit🔥

Kurios is sexy enough for a hot new date, but fun and eye-catching enough for the entire family.
This is not your ordinary clowns coming out of tiny cars, large animals tamed by a whip, or white faced mimes clowning around kinda circus.
This show is sleek and tantalizing; delivering a dream-like glimpse into the inside of the Seeker’s (mad scientist) imagination. Through the Seeker’s exhaustive imaginings we’re able to see acrobats, gymnasts, contortionists, singers, jugglers and more go back and forth in time with a futuristic steam punk flair.
There is even a little person, Mini Lili, that lives inside of another character’s belly (Microcosmos)..
Would you think a finger show would keep your attention? Ha! Theater of hands will do just that. Multiple hands take us through a lifetime worth of events in minutes. The mini-dramas are projected onto a cloud.
I have to say my favorite performance is of the group of fish a.k.a female contortionist bending and twisting on a giant hand.
Each scene and performance is completely unexpected and delightfully unusual. You will definitely leave with an expanded imagination and tons to talk about. There was so much more to see, and we know you’re Kurios, but we won’t ruin it for you.

There’s a boom in medical marijuana dispensaries in the state of Californian and the U.S. These facilities have reached record numbers, cropping up like Starbucks or McDonald’s. States across the nation are legalizing medical and recreational marijuana. Our two unlikely heroes, Darius (DeRay Davis – “EMPIRE”, “21 Jump Street”, “GI Joe”) and Pat (Lil Duval – “Scary Movie 5″,”Meet the Blacks”), figure they can help the medical marijuana movement, but mainly help themselves by trying to grow their own cannabis and selling their crop to the dispensaries. Only one problem, knowing how to smoke weed doesn’t mean you know how to grow weed.
After taking a trip to “Dr. Doobie” (Malcolm McDowell – “Entourage”, “The Mentalist”, “Home Alone”) to become legally certified pot growers, they gain access to a Bel Air mansion to use as a “grow house.” Although they convince Snoop Dogg (played as himself) to fund their operation, our heroes soon discover what can grow wrong, will go wrong in this comedy of errors.

Pastor Terrance Johnson and First Lady Torsha Johnson of Higher Dimension Ministries pulled off another successful Answer Conference year!
The answer conference was started by Pastor J and his wife First Lady J in order to answer all of your questions about relationships that they’ve figured out in their relationship.
This year we were graced with a new set of answers to our tough relationship questions. The answer conference connected us with nationally recognized speakers to share their personal experiences, perspectives and stories to further help us understand our relationships.
Pastor J and First Lady J hosted a panel discussion about marriage with the help of Adrienne Bailon (host of The Real), Her husband Isreal Houghton, Dondre Whitfeild (actor: Queen Sugar)and his wife Salli Richardson Whitfield. The panelist really opened up about they’re relationships.
Now pastor and first lady didn’t just Answer questions about our relationships and leave our finances in shambles! They sought The help of panelist Michele Thorton and Dorinda walker to keep it real about our pocket books and bank accounts. Throughout the conference Nephew Tommy reminded us to make room for laughter with his silly sense of humor! He’s hilarious! Kept us on our feet praising the most high with his upbeat musical performances.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the Human Sex Trafficking panel discussion with Jordan Sparks (American Ideal), Her mother Jodi Sparks, and Nichette Smith. These women have made it their mission to educate people about this uncomfortable topic.
Needless to say this conference equips you with all the tools you need to find a significant other, keep the one you have, or just be comfortable with being single.
HOUSTON, TX, February 10, 2017—The Motivated Mom Tour Super Mom Super Bowl LI Luncheon Edition, powered by Prudential Financial, Inc., and supported by corporate partners Hilton Worldwide, Coca-Cola and BET Centric, scored a touchdown! in Houston, TX this past Super Bowl LI. Over 100 attendees including moms, entrepreneurs and media professionals enjoyed a full afternoon of empowered networking at the chic red carpet event held at the Hess Club in the beautiful and bustling Galleria area.
Motivated mom Latoyia Dennis had the pleasure of hosting Johnette Patton (Usher Raymond’s mother), Crystal Wilson (Shanice’s mother), Rose Rock (Chris and Tony Rocks mother), Tyra Wardlow (Meagan Good’s mother), and Michele Thornton as the moderator on a panel geared towards women empowerment.
Women, but mothers in particular, are consumed by their kids, and tending to everyone else’s needs above their own. These moms said not today! It’s time to shift your thinking to self-restoration, and start living your BEST life! Yesss to that! A quote that resonated with me during the panel discussion was when Rose Rock, said “It’s never too late to start living your life! I’m 68, and my life isn’t over!” This really stayed with me because we all start some kind of life project that we feel isn’t quite where we want it to be, but hearing her say that gives me hope that it can get to my level of expectation.
There were all kinds of golden nuggets of information dropped throughout the evening. I really left feeling empowered and motivated to get started!
