Man Charged In Shooting of Two Ferguson Police Officers

Jeffrey Williams, a 20-year-old St. Louis resident, has come forward in the recent shooting of two Ferguson police officers. Williams admitted to St.Louis County Prosecutor Robert McCulloch, to being present at the protest outside of the Ferguson Police Department on March 12th and firing a handgun near the line of officers. He said he was not targeting officers, but instead firing at someone he had an earlier dispute with. Okay. Protestors have informed police that he is in no way connected to their movement, but Williams maintains he was out that evening as part of the protests. The suspect is being held on a $300,000 bond and is charged with two counts of first-degree assault, one count of firing a weapon from a vehicle and three counts of armed criminal action. In other words, homeboy is going to jail regardless.
