Denzel Curry and Red Bull have announced details for the latest installment of Red Bull Zeltron World Wide, the unique, four-part event series created with the Florida rapper. Making its debut on the West Coast, Red Bull Zeltron World Wide San Francisco will go down Friday, March 20th at Fort Mason and
will see Curry go head-to-head for five rounds of lyrical brinkmanship with DMV-based rapper, producer and singer Rico Nasty in a custom-built wrestling ring. The March tour event follows the Atlanta iteration last fall and the upcoming edition in Miami against J.I.D on February 29th. Fans can purchase tickets for the San Francisco event HERE.
Named after Curry’s alter ego Zeltron, Red Bull Zeltron World Wide is a wrestling-inspired live music experience unlike anything else. Two artists step into the ring and go head-to-head in a rap blowout, attempting to one-up each other in a showcase of next-level lyricism and showmanship. Envisioned by Curry and brought to life together with Red Bull, the performance format welcomes the freshest vanguards of hip-hop into the ring to go head-to-head for a five-round bout.
It’s an exciting time for both Denzel Curry and Rico Nasty – last week, Curry surprised fans by dropping UNLOCKED, a new collaborative album with Kenny Beats while Rico Nasty’s much-anticipated forthcoming debut album, Nightmare Vacation is set to drop this year.
Inspired by Denzel Curry’s love of professional wrestling, Red Bull Zeltron World Wide in San Francisco will bring to life the literal aspect of wrestling unlike any other event. The artistic vision behind Curry’s dream show was first realized with Red Bull in Miami back in 2018 as Red Bull: Zeltron vs. Zombies, the unforgettable event that saw the rapper battle New York’s Flatbush Zombies. The concept has since become a series, Red Bull Zeltron World Wide, which, as Curry announced following his bout against Joey Bada$$ during the 2019 Red Bull Music Festival Atlanta, has upcoming stops in Miami, San Francisco and New York in 2020.
