Apple held its “Spring Forward” event Monday morning in San Francisco to introduce their new tech toys and devices to the world. The Apple CEO, Tim Cook, gave a thorough presentation of the four new gadgets coming to the Apple lineup this Spring including a thin and fan-less Macbook, HBO streaming on Apple TV, Research Kit, and the Apple Watch.
The new Macbook will be the lightest ever, weighing in at only 2 pounds. It will feature a 12-inch screen, Retina display, wider keyboard, and is 13.1 mm thin. It will also come in gold and be the first-ever fail-less computer. You can find the new Macbook in the Apple store on April 10 and it will set you back only &1,299.
HBO will now be made exclusive for Apple TV subscribers. Now you can watch all of your favorite HBO movies and shows, but for $14.99 a month. Not too shabby, huh?
The new software, Research Kit, will be a one-of-a-kind software made to broaden medical research. This will allow iPhone owners to use their devices in diagnostic and medical sense. Apple has made it clear they will have zero access to your medical information for all of us who are concerned about our privacy being invaded. The first Research Kit apps are already available and more developments will come within the next month.
Slated as “The most advanced timepiece ever,” fans have anticipated the Apple Watch for what seems like forever. Coming to stores on April 24th, the Apple Watch has whopping price range of $349 to $10,000. The watch has an 18-hour battery life and takes the labor out of much of your phone duties including texting, using apps, and calling features. It comes in various styles such as sport, stainless steel and 18 karat gold. Sounds amazing but the main question we have is…can it tell time?! You can learn more about all of the new Apple products on the Apple website. Enjoy!
